We are focusing on how this will affect coffee prices or how Christmas tree farms handle it. However, we rarely focus on the bigger picture, climate crisis leads to a global water crisis. It is not only about having enough water to grow coffee or Christmas trees %u2013 luxuries %u2013 it's about the availability of drinking water, and the accessibility of water to grow food and provide water to livestock, the damage caused to sanitation infrastructure, the disruptions of forests which reduces groundwater recharge, and so much more.
