It seeks to bridge this gap by integrating contextual and behavioral influences on water utilization.Further, it encourages a rethinking of water systems as complex socio-ecotechnological frameworks with nonlinear dynamics and introduces a conceptual model that connects contextual and behavioral factors to water resilience, outlining potential cause-and-effect relationships based on behavioral theories and psychological frameworks. The model highlights the significance of institutional factors in the interactions between institutions and stakeholders and considers the influences on both individual water users and personnel within water supply organizations. This approach is supported by a thorough review of relevant literature on water use, resilience, conservation behaviors, and psychology.
